Camping Les Sables

LOCATION
The 4-star Camping Les Sables is located on the outskirts of La Rochelle, in a prime location for exploring the beauty of the Charente Maritime. The 5.5-hectare site is ideally located less than a kilometre from the natural beach of Aytré, a delightful 3-kilometre stretch of fine sand. This seaside resort is particularly popular for shellfish fishing, spectacular sunsets and water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. The famous beaches of La Rochelle and Châtelaillon-Plage are also nearby.

ACCOMMODATION
The campsite has 298 pitches, including 96 accommodation units and 134 free pitches accessible to people with reduced mobility. The pitches for tents, caravans and campers are large, around 100 m², and can accommodate up to 6 people. Characterised by grassy terrain and bordered on three sides by hedges, they offer connections for water, electricity (included in the price) and waste water. Most of the pitches are semi-shaded thanks to the presence of trees that guarantee alternating areas of shade during the day.

As for the accommodation units, the campsite offers a selection of 95 mobile homes of different types: models with one, two or three bedrooms, available in the comfort and comfort versions with reversible air conditioning. Since 2013 there has also been a mobile home specially designed for guests with reduced mobility. All the units, no longer 12 years old, are fully equipped with television, refrigerator, dishes, microwave, coffee maker, garden furniture and a semi-covered wooden terrace. Bed linen is included.

SERVICES
The facility offers complete and modern services. There are three sanitary blocks strategically distributed throughout the campsite, equipped with toilets, showers, sinks for laundry and dishes, washing machines and dryers. A rental service is available for camping beds (without mattresses) and high chairs, small refrigerators for the pitches, gas barbecues. Multilingual reception is guaranteed with extended hours during the high season. During the months of July and August, a bakery and mini-market service is active for daily needs.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
The jewel in the crown of the campsite is the its aquatic complex, which includes a covered and heated swimming pool (open from 1st April to 15th October), a hydromassage area, free mini balneotherapy, sauna, hammam, spa, water jets and anatomical seats. Particularly popular are the three water slides: one with tight curves for 60 metres, the "kamikaze" for adrenaline lovers, and the "pentaglisse" for fun water races.

Entertainment is provided by four professionals: an entertainer dedicated to children (4-12 years) for the mini club, a sports entertainer for tournaments and activities in the pool, a fitness instructor and choreographer, and an evening entertainer who organises quizzes, games, dance evenings and special events such as the election of Miss Camping. The property also has two children's play areas with swings and carousels, a multi-sports field for teenagers, an outdoor fitness area and a free tennis court (reservation required in high season). Since 2016, there is also an outdoor water play area called AQUATOONS, which is particularly popular with the little ones.
