POSITION The Camping Turist Il Gabbiano is located in Golasecca, in the province of Varese, in the magnificent natural environment of the Ticino Park. This privileged location allows you to enjoy the tranquility of nature, while remaining close to urban centers and places of interest. Just a few kilometers away is Sesto Calende, a lively town with stores, services and leisure options, while Milan is only a 40-minute drive away thanks to the direct connection to the A8 freeway. The Sesto Calende train station, 3 km away, facilitates national and international travel, and Malpensa airport can be reached in just 10 minutes. Near the campsite there are also the archaeological sites of the Golasecca Civilization, of pre-Roman origin, as well as an extensive 80 km cycle path that crosses the Ticino Park and runs along canals and waterways of great beauty. From the private pier of the campsite it is possible to take boat trips on Lake Maggiore to reach the Swiss shores.

Accommodations
The structure offers different options of stay. The plots, spacious and mostly covered with grass, are suitable for motorhomes, caravans or tents, with the possibility of short, medium or long stays, and with emptying and filling service for campers always available. The bungalows, on the other hand, are perfect for those looking for more comfort. They can accommodate up to 4 people and have a living room with sofa bed, kitchen equipped with refrigerator, sink and stove, double or twin bedroom, and bathroom with shower. The accommodation includes water, electricity and gas.

SERVICES
The campsite offers its guests a wide range of services to ensure a pleasant stay. The swimming pool, located next to the bar, is suitable for both adults and children, is equipped with sun loungers and is open from June to September; entrance is free for guests and the use of a cap is compulsory. The bar represents the center of the social life of the campsite, with themed evenings, card tournaments, billiards, soccer and moments of animation. Sports and recreational facilities are also available, such as a petanque court, ping pong, soccer and carom tables. Reserved parking is available for guests' convenience. The nautical sector is particularly well cared for: moorings are offered with monthly or annual agreements, boat storage service and access to the floating pontoons without time restrictions. During the summer months, especially in July and August, daytime and evening entertainment activities are organized for adults and children, with a variety of proposals that involve the whole family.
