The Villaggio Camping Spiaggia del Riso is located in one of the most charming areas of southeastern Sardinia, with direct access to the beach that gives it its name, between the tourist port of Villasimius and the famous beach of Campulongu, both easily accessible on foot. Surrounded by a vast pine forest of 60,000 square meters and immersed in the unspoiled nature of the Protected Marine Area of Capo Carbonara, this campsite is the ideal starting point to discover the natural and cultural wonders of the surrounding area. A few minutes away is the center of the village of Villasimius, lively especially in summer, and several archaeological sites of interest such as the nearby domus de janas, ancient nuraghes and the historic Fortezza Vecchia, testimony of the Aragonese and Savoyard. The sea, with crystal clear waters and sandy bottoms, makes it a perfect destination also for families with children.


LODGINGS
At Villaggio Camping Spiaggia del Riso guests can choose from a wide variety of accommodation options, tailored to all kinds of preferences and needs. For lovers of traditional camping, there are 217 pitches distributed between shaded and seafront areas: pitches for classic tents, spaces dedicated to Canadian or igloo tents, areas for caravans and motorhomes, and even pitches with a direct sea view for those looking for an exclusive environment. All areas are equipped with toilet blocks scattered throughout the campsite, including indoor hot showers (coin-operated), outdoor showers, toilets, sinks for dishes and clothes, automatic washing machines and areas for cleaning fish.

Those who prefer a more comfortable stay can choose between different fixed units located within the pine forest: Back Banana bungalows (30 m², for up to 5 people) and Bradipo (32 m², also for 5 people), both in wood and with covered porch; mobile homes (22 m², for up to 3 people), which offer a suite-like experience in the middle of nature; masonry rooms (12 m², for up to 3 people), ideal for those who want more comfort; and the original pod tents (6 m², for 2 people), designed for a romantic getaway. All these options can be booked with hotel formula, with breakfast, half or full board, and some include daily cleaning.


SERVICES
Within the campsite the services are designed to ensure a carefree stay. The Restaurant Pizzeria La Sorgente is the culinary heart of the complex, with self-service at noon, a la carte menu in the evening and the possibility to order takeaway food and enjoy it in the accommodation itself or in the pine forest. There are two bars —one of them right in front of the sea— open from morning to evening for breakfast, light meals and snacks with spectacular views.

The campsite also has a well-stocked supermarket with butcher and newsagent, a children's play area, a tennis court and a soccer field, a healthy path through the forest to the beach and 24 barbecues distributed throughout the green area to organize outdoor barbecues. The toilet blocks are distributed in four points of the campsite and two of them are adapted for people with reduced mobility.

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
During the high season, from mid-June to mid-September, the entertainment team organizes daily activities for the whole family: games, creative workshops, shows and sports tournaments that ensure moments of fun for adults and children. In addition, the location of the campsite makes it the ideal starting point for excursions by sea or land: boat trips in the Protected Marine Area of Capo Carbonara, diving or snorkeling to explore the seabed and the submerged statue of the Madonna del Naufrago, horseback riding or cycling among archaeological remains and natural landscapes.

The nearby beaches are truly unmissable: Porto Giunco, Cala Caterina, Is Traias, Punta Molentis and many more are just a few kilometers from the campsite.
