Camping Biscione

Camping Biscione, in the province of Trapani, is situated in an excellent location, directly on the splendid coast. The village has an area of about 36 thousand square meters and is about 200 m from the sea. It is located on the seafront of the municipality of Petrosino, a small rural center in the far west of Sicily, between the two large municipalities of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, whose main activities have historically always been linked to the cultivation of vines, from which an excellent wine is produced. Petrosino is a very popular tourist destination, full of tourists that fill this quiet town during the summer season. The particular shape of the coast and the exposure to the winds give the area a particular predisposition to sports related to the sea and the wind; in fact, on the stretch of coast in front of the campsite it is possible to practice various activities. The strategic position of Camping Biscione makes it a perfect starting point for excursions and visits to the beautiful islands of Egadi, Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo and the many historical attractions of the archaeological sites such as the temples of Selinunte and Agrigento, the natural spas of Segesta. The area is also home to the Arab quarter of Mazara del Vallo, the medieval town of Erice, the nature reserves of Lo Stagnone di Marsala, the salt mines of Trapani, the nature reserve at the mouth of the Belice river, the nature reserve of Lo Zingaro, the museum town of Gibellina Vecchia with the famous work of art "el cretto di Burri".
