LOCATION
The Camping al Lago is located in the municipality of Ledro, in the village of Pieve, right on the shores of Lake Ledro, in Trentino. The campground is 15 kilometers from Riva del Garda and is located in the Ledro Valley, surrounded by mountains and recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Nearby are the archaeological site of the Lake Ledro Pile Dwellings, protected by UNESCO, four equipped beaches on the lake, and numerous small alpine villages. The Regina del Lago climbing wall is 10 kilometers away, while the cliffs of Arco are 20 kilometers away.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Camping al Lago offers camping sites, apartments, and mobile homes. The campsites, lakeside or shaded, are suitable for RVs, trailers, and tents, and feature a 6A electrical hookup, free hot water, free Wi-Fi, and camper service. The mobile homes include TERRACE, MARIN, and STANDARD, for 4 people, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a terrace, and a parking space; LUXUS PIGRECO, LUXUS DIFINA, and AURORA XL, accommodating 5 people, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace, and a parking space; and ZEFIRO, for up to 3 people, with one’ spacious bedroom, a third bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace, and a parking space. Pets are allowed in the listed accommodations, with the exception of LUXUS DIFINA. The mobile homes include parking, sheets and towels, final cleaning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, electricity, drinking water, air conditioning, heating, and a welcome kit. Also available are coin-operated washing machines and dryers.
AMENITIES
The facility features a new service building with showers, restrooms, a baby care room, a dishwashing area, a laundry room, and a dog shower with hot and cold water. Drinking water, free Wi-Fi throughout the campground, and a camper service area are available.
Inside the campground is the restaurant, pizzeria, and bar “La Finestra”, which offers local cuisine, traditional dishes, and pizza made with a special dough, as well as a wood-fired oven, wine, and grappa. About 200 meters away is a grocery store. The campground also offers bike rentals, mountain bikes, and e-bikes for adults and children, as well as two-person canoe rentals, with the option to add a third small passenger and life jackets provided by the campground.
ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT
The Ledro Valley offers numerous opportunities to enjoy an outdoor vacation. Guests can go hiking and mountain biking, with over 200 kilometers of marked trails, or explore the lake by canoe. On Lake Ledro, you can also go sailing, catamaran sailing, and windsurfing.
For those seeking more adventure, there are opportunities for canyoning on the Palvico River, paragliding, rock climbing, and via ferrata, including the Cima Capi via ferrata. Nearby, you’ll also find the Regina del Lago climbing wall and the famous cliffs of Arco. The area also offers beaches, nature, mountains, and scenic trails, suitable for both sports enthusiasts and those who wish to spend their vacation in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
