LOCATION
Camping Village Il Poggetto is located in Troghi, in the Florentine hills, nestled in the Tuscan countryside among the olive groves and vineyards of Chianti. It is about 15 km from Florence and can also be reached by public bus.
POOLS AND RELAXATION
The resort features two pools: a larger one for adults and one for children, with depths ranging from 40 to 70 cm. The pool area is equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs; free water aerobics classes are offered in July and August. There is also a panoramic terrace overlooking the hills, ideal for aperitifs and outdoor dinners.
CAMPING SITES
The grassy, shaded campsites are designed for tents, trailers, and RVs. Standard sites measure 60 to 80 m² and have a 6-amp electrical hookup; Large sites, ranging from 80 to 100 m², are also suitable for large RVs and have a 10-amp hookup. Water fountains, barbecue areas, and restrooms are located nearby; private bathrooms are available upon request, as well as a fully equipped Baby Room.
BUNGALOWS AND MOBILE HOMES
The resort offers brick bungalows, mobile homes, apartments, and rooms. The bungalows, sleeping 2 to 4 people, have one or two bedrooms, a living room with a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and an outdoor veranda. The mobile homes accommodate 2 to 6 people and include bedrooms, a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom, and a covered veranda. All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi.
DINING AND SERVICES
The restaurant-pizzeria serves traditional Tuscan dishes and is also open to non-residents; it features a panoramic terrace and takeout service. The bar is open all day for breakfast, quick meals, and aperitifs. There is also a mini-market, on-site parking for cars and buses, bus ticket sales to Florence, and bike, scooter, and car rentals.
SPORTS AND LEISURE
For entertainment, there is a soccer field, a ping-pong table, an outdoor playground, and Tree Village, a tree-top adventure course with treehouses and suspended walkways. In July and August, the entertainment program engages children, teens, and adults with a mini-club, baby dance, pool games, tournaments, and outdoor activities. In the surrounding area, you can go hiking, horseback riding, and on mountain bike or e-bike excursions.

Pets are allowed on all campsites and in all accommodations at the resort.

The location allows you to visit Florence, with its museums, monuments, and historic neighborhoods, and to explore the Chianti hills among vineyards, olive groves, and trails. The campground is also a great starting point for trips throughout Tuscany, with destinations like Pienza and Pisa within easy day-trip reach.
