Location and surroundings
The International Campsite of Castelfusano is surrounded by the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub, and is located directly on the seafront, in front of a wide beach with free access. Its location is ideal for those looking for a stay between nature and sea. The city of Ostia is only 3 km away, while the center of Rome is easily accessible in less than an hour by public transport (bus + subway), with an inexpensive ticket. Just 10 km from the campsite you can visit the archaeological ruins of Ostia Antica, ancient port of imperial Rome, as well as the charming Renaissance village with the Castle of Julius II.


Accommodations
The campsite offers a wide variety of accommodations to suit different needs. Shaded, well-maintained pitches are available for tents and caravans. For those who prefer more comfort, the campground has different types of mobile homes, including a new unit (type H) specially designed for wheelchair users, with facilitated access. The accommodations allow a functional stay in contact with nature, and dogs are accepted in the mobile homes upon request.


SERVICES
At the Castelfusano International Campsite there are numerous services designed to guarantee a comfortable experience. There is a bar, a restaurant and a mini-market with essential products. There are three toilet blocks with free hot showers and coin-operated washing machines and dryers. Also provided are free safes, free luggage storage and shuttle service from Fiumicino and Ciampino airports (extra charge). In addition, the campsite has wireless internet connection, an internet access point and accessible facilities for people with disabilities.
